Some info:
1. Only Varsity is scheduled to make up the Novi match tomorrow because their JV is unavailable Thursday. Should there be a rain out, it is possible that JV team 1 will play in the make-up match, so check back soon. If it does rain, I’m asking to make up the match on Monday. FYI Novi’s Varsity isn’t as dominant as I thought. They lost 3 singles and 4 doubles to Brighton. All their matches against Brighton were pretty close, like ours. See match results:

2. The weather looks great for Friday’s practice. This will be a full JV practice followed by an ice cream social at 4:30. Lots of end of season info will be discussed including info about next season.
3. Varsity Team: The uniform policy will be strictly enforced on Saturday. We will meet at the tennis court parking lot at 7:30. Optional breakfast at Einstein for non Prom girls (I assume) at 7:00.
4. JV team 2 will play in our final dual match on Tuesday against an opponent to be named after the Conference tournament.
5. Anyone who has not returned the banquet slip but wanted to must reply to this email ASAP

Week of 4/26

Hi everyone. Some announcements for this week:

1. Pictures will be this Thursday in the PHS gym at a time to be determined. I requested 3 pm to give us time to take pics and have jv on the courts for Hartland by 3:45, but that time is NOT final yet. I’ll have the photo packages for everyone this week.

2. Varsity court players will practice at Discovery on Monday and Wednesday at 3:00 this week. Please let me know if you need help getting there.

3. JV team 1 plays Howell Monday, team 2 plays John Glenn on Tuesday, team 1 plays Hartland’s team 1 on Wednesday, and team 2 plays Hartland’s team 2 on Thursday. The regular practice schedule applies Friday. If you are not playing that day, you are not required to be there, but it would be great if you voluntarily stopped by to cheer on your teammates.

4. Our banquet has been scheduled for May 25th at Fox Hills. You must pay your booster fee to be able to attend the banquet. There are still about 25 of you who still need to pay it. If you aren’t sure if you have paid, please check with me.

5. (For returning players) I talked to Coach Farmer on the phone yesterday. He’s recovering from surgery on his rotator cuff and is unable to play or coach tennis at all. If you get a chance, please send him a note to wish him a speedy recovery. He misses you all very much. His email is daf222@msn.com and he is now on Facebook!

The following Focal Point Team Pictures will be taken in the Plymouth Gym on
THURSDAY, APRIL 29,  2010 .
Please have your team line up in order by their height and available 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
Pick up your photo envelopes in the Athletic Office.
(Also in the wall box under the bulletin board outside my office door)
Please remind your athletes – payment is due at the time of pictures by either cash or check payable to Plymouth High School.
We will not be able to order pictures for athletes that do not bring their money on picture day.
